Excited for an upcoming book talk in January…and how reading benefits us
I’m looking forward to being at the Severna Park Library in January on the 21st at 7 p.m. They are always so gracious to invite me whenever I release a new book (and there are three copies of Little Milestones in circulation there). The Town of Oxford Awaits You
*** On Sunday, July 16, the Town of Oxford in Maryland will host Plein Air Day, whereby artists come to town to paint scenes of Oxford and its waterways. The day will be filled with other festivities as well, including tours of the town, rides on the historic ferry, free coffee with the purchase of muffin at Oxford Market, music, and lots of activities for everyone. If you’ve read my novel, Inn Significant, you may remember the bookstore in town, which is real. It’s called Mystery Loves…

Gosh, life is busy, isn’t it? We’re all just pushing through each day trying to accomplish all that we can during the 12+ hours we are awake. That said, it’s been a busy April, as it often is in the university world. With three weeks remaining of the semester, the students are getting ready for their final presentations, papers, and pitches. I am excited to see what unfolds in the classroom. In the meantime, I don’t do this often, but I wanted to share some updates here on the blog. Congrats, Leeanne! I want to congratulate my colleague, friend, and co-author of Event Planning: Communicating Theory & Practice, Dr. Leeanne…
