The Big Thrill

Yesterday, Paperblog, a fabulous website that features “the best articles around by experts and enthusiasts” selected Steph’s Scribe as “Blogger of the Day.”

Well, this made my day. It was a big thrill.

I’ve been blogging regularly two to three times a week since April 12 of last year. It’s become a passion of mine and I relish the time I get to spend doing it. It was exciting to be featured, and I’m sure I’ll stay on a Paperblog high for quite some time.

It isn’t always easy to come up with things to write about each week. Though writer’s block hasn’t exactly grabbed hold of me to date, there have been days when I’ve called my friend Jenny and uttered these words: “What the heck am I going to blog about today?” We usually chat about things and then, magically, as if the creativity blew in from some unknown source, the idea hits, and I write it. This is part of the fun of it. It’s constantly challenging, and I adore a good challenge.

So thanks, Paperblog, for the recognition. I will continue to be a blogging enthusiast for many years to come, or for at least as long as the creative wind continues to blow my way.
